Kazakhstan to make social welfare system more targeted and efficient - president

ALMATY. March 12 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan will reform its social support system to make it more targeted and efficient, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said Thursday, citing warnings from international experts about the dangers of overly generous welfare programs.
